Espresso is rich, smooth, deeply comforting, and quietly addictive. One side wraps you in a solid, deep brown, like that bold, grounding first sip of coffee in the morning. It's warm, cosy and substantial. Flip it over and the same rich tone becomes a refined creamy pinstripe. Still warm, but now a more sophisticated crema.

I styled Espresso with a minimalist line drawing and a simple glass vase holding dried Corokia branches, which bring organic texture and sculptural interest. Just beside it, a small candle to add that intimate, sensory layer. The Haigh's are a given. Espresso and chocolate belong together.

Created by someone who uses one every day

I wanted my bedroom to feel styled and intentional, without the morning pillow ritual that felt like too much effort every single day.

So I created the Arlem Bedhead Cushion. As beautiful as it is comfortable, and so easy to style! The idea came to me on a holiday in Queensland, and the day I got home I taught myself to sew, pouring my love of fabrics into every cushion. The first few hundred were hand sewn on my kitchen table in Adelaide, where I obsessed over every detail, shaping them soft enough to sink into yet structured enough to lean back against.

Today I still design every Bedhead Cushion, and use one on my own bed every day.
