Meadow is a soft sage stripe with an off-white ruffle, the colour combination of a garden catching the morning light. Quiet, natural and gently beautiful.
It sits on your bed and the room softens. The sage is calm and the off-white ruffle carries that freshly picked feeling, like the sun just came through the window and landed exactly right.
The cushion a well loved home deserves.

How to style Meadow
I styled Meadow with the matching pillowcases and the off-white quilt cover, which reverses the cushion's palette. The sage stripe ruffle runs the entire edge of the quilt for a beautifully cohesive bed.
A warm figurative print above the bed picks up the earthy tones, a sculptural vase with fresh white daisy stems adds life to the corner, and a small pair of gold earrings on the bedside ties it all together.
Created by someone who uses one every day
I wanted my bedroom to feel styled and intentional, without the morning pillow ritual that felt like too much effort every single day.
So I created the Arlem Bedhead Cushion. As beautiful as it is comfortable, and so easy to style! The idea came to me on a holiday in Queensland, and the day I got home I taught myself to sew, pouring my love of fabrics into every cushion. The first few hundred were hand sewn on my kitchen table in Adelaide, where I obsessed over every detail, shaping them soft enough to sink into yet structured enough to lean back against.
Today I still design every Bedhead Cushion, and use one on my own bed every day.
Whether you have been here from the beginning or have only just arrived, I am so happy you found Arlem.
